Trick And Treat

The Halloween tradition calls for a Trick to be played unless a Treat is offered. It’s rather
gruesome to consider what might happen if you don’t meet the expectation; a trip to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal-Orlando is enough to confirm your worries!

The other thing that strikes me with this tradition is the either/or aspect of Halloween. It’s definitely not contrived as a mutually-beneficial deal. Perhaps there is a better proposition that can be applied to the world of business, one that produces a Treat as a result of a Trick.

In business, the Trick is to assemble a team of talented people, who embrace a shared vision and pursue it in an inspired manner. Working together in an environment of mutual respect and trust, such a team will Treat its customers to an exceptional product or service experience. The ultimate result produces a Treat for the employees to enjoy as well.

When it comes to business, let’s begin a new tradition this Halloween. Trick and Treat!
